Pyrenees Walk – Key facts 29th June 2009: Dr. Paul Stevens, immediate past-president of the British Renal Society and his son Charlie embark on a 45 day trek across the Pyrenees, from Hendaye on the Atlantic Coast to Banyuls-sur-Mer on the Mediterranean coast. The walk is 890 kilometres in total and involves climbing the equivalent of the height of Mt Everest no fewer than 5 times. The walk is entirely self-funded and is in aid of the British Renal Society patient- centred research fund so please sponsor them generously.
